the location was very good, right in centre of Gran Via, with lots of shopping, restaurants museums etc in the area.
Walls are very thin and you can hear a lot of noise from other rooms and from the corridor.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was also impeccably clean.
The Internet service was a bit shaky but it worked nonetheless. The area is full of noise and bustle 24/7.

The location is great, just 2 minutes walking from Gran Via. But the area is a bit "adult" so if you have small kids or have problems with seeing hookers in the street you may feel a bit uncomfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location--right near Chueca and Malasaña! The hotel is gorgeous, the facilities substantial, and the staff friendly. This is the only place I will stay in Madrid!

The staff were very friendly and the location was so central, 2 minutes from Gran Via metro. It is perfect for a visit to Madrid, if you need a central base but don't plan to stay in the hotel all day. As the room is basic but it was clean and was cleaned daily.

In the single room with bathroom, everything is in the one room. Not really a problem as long you don't mind looking at the toilet while you're in bed :) Red light district but felt perfectly safe at all hours.

The staff were excellent. We had to change rooms because the first one was very noisy at night. The staff were very willing to let us change. They also had plenty of useful tourist information.
The room looking out onto the side street was very noisy at night. The second room was very peaceful.

It was in a great location right in the city centre of Madrid. Value for money however, room was very small and partitions between rooms did not stop noise from other rooms. Helpful staff
No enough lights in the room. Old style building. Noisy from other rooms due to thin partitions.

Perfect for young people to visit the town, very close to the center, very clean, towel changed every day and the sheets every 2 days even if we stay 3 nights. The room was small and the bathroom very small but essential and sufficent for the use.The staff very friendly and helpful. Little noisy but not annoying with earplugs. I really reccomend it.

Nobody had mentioned it in the other reviews but this hotel is so quirky and cute! The decor it great, lots of ncie colours and cool pictures and mirrors and little lights. Great ambience. It's in the perfect location, right in the centre about 100m from gran via metro stop. Don't be but off by some of the unsavoury charactersaroudn that area; it's pretty safe if you don't hang around in the streets. As a girl on ehr own travelling I fel perfectly safe. The staff were great and I loved my room. I'd recommend this hotel and plan to go back!
However, there isn't actually wifi,there is a pc you can usein the lobby, I think for a charge. Not a big deal, but wifi had been advertised.
